Sahlab is a Lebanese and Middle Eastern milk pudding. It is very popular and served hot garnished with cinnamon and nuts.
Ingredients: sugar, corn flour, thickening agent: guar gum, creamy vanilla, orange blossom flavour, mastic flavour, rose flavour.
Directions: In a saucepan, dissolve the contents of the pack in 4 cups (800ml) milk. Put on medium heat and stir constantly until boiling. Take off the heat and stir in 1 tsp of rose water and/or orange blossom water. Transfer to dessert bowls or glass mugs. Serve hot garnished with cinnamon and nuts.
