How Vimto become Ramadan's traditional drink for Iftar
The Iftar during Ramadan in Middle East almost not complete without Vimto.
The drink is so popular in most of the Gulf Countries such as Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and United Arab Emirates, they are considered the highest consumers of Vimto in the world outside the original country UK.
First manufactured in Manchester in 1908, under the name of "Vimtonic", later on it was called Vimto, the drink was very popular in the UK.
The drink was introduced to Middle East during 1927 by Saudi Arabian company Abdulla Aujan & Brothers and since then Vimto is the most consumed drink in Middle East during the holy month of Ramadan.
